I remember already being at work when one of the foremen ran into our area and told us that a plane had hit one of the towers in New York. We all started talking at once, confusion filling the room. Someone turned on the radio and we listened, trying to piece together what had happened.
When we heard that a second plane had hit, the entire room filled with gasps and then became silent.
I think that we all remember exactly where we were on that historic day. Every single Canadian that I know ached for the suffering of our neighbours and shared in the horror and fear, glued to the TV for days after trying to make sense of this catastrophe.
Thinking of my American friends today and remembering right along with you.

Thanks for the beautiful post Terry. It's been 10 years, but the range of emotions I felt that day are ingrained.
What a day that was. 10 years- It seems like just yesterday in someways and then ages ago in another way. I remembering how that evil act seemed to pull the nation together in a way that I had not ever seen before. For a few days we remembered God and called upon Him- we so easily forget when things start going normal again.

As a Canadian, I felt a bit odd posting about this today...and yet I felt I had to.
