Friday's Quotes - Gardening

It has felt to me like the first real week of summer with too much heat and humidity, parades and parties, and lots of time in the gardening.  Here's to the gardening.  :)

Oh, I like the Kipling one! I have to say, that standing on my deck yesterday, I realized that I am losing my battle with the heat with my plants. Thanks for your inspiring words today!

I'm feeling so much guilt because my garden is suffering a lot from the heat and lack of rain this year....and I'm enjoying the summer too much to tend to it! It really looks like the desert in my 'garden' and that's just not like me.

Oh well....

(I don't comment as much, but I'm enjoying your summer posts! Read every one!)

Rainy days means more sewing and blogging!!! A friend who knows me well, gave me a plaque which reads... Forget the housework, gone gardening. Have a great weekend, Terry!!!

The birds have eaten everything but the mint from my little herb garden. Alas, my thumb is never going to turn green at this rate. ;) Happy Friday, Terry!

I like the idea of decorating my soul with flowers :) Happy Friday Terry! Have a wonderful weekend. It is raining here today so all these quotes are pretty fitting

These are all great quotes, the 2nd one is so true, you can use the work of gardening as a meditative tool and observing the scene, it always refreshes.

Unfortunately, it is near drought conditions here, just hoping it will rain soon- for the farmers and the wildlife, too.
