WOL - Evaluating Your Life Satisfaction

So have you been thinking about your wheel?  Me too.  I did my evaluations and colouring last night.  First you'll want to get yourself a wheel.  I have some here that I've made using PicMonkey but you can also just use the first blank template, and then pick your own favourite backgrounds or embellishments.  They are all 8x10 pages.

Download Blank Template

Download Painted Wheel
Download Denim Wheel

Download Aging Plaster

Download Pink Smudge Wheel

Download Burlap Wheel

Okay, so now you've downloaded and printed your wheel (you could also just freehand a circle in your art journal or on the back of your water bill, it really doesn't matter).  Now, you can go along and rate each category with 10 being the most satisfied and 1 being not at all satisfied.

I took some oil pastel crayons and coloured it up a bit.  The scores really stand out this way and it makes it more fun (check out my superior colouring skills, ha ha). If you had an art journal, this might be a page you would insert in there.

You can see that my lowest scores were found in career, spirituality, health, and creativity.  I'm pretty happy in the other four so I'm not going to address them right now;  maybe when I get these other slackers up to 10s.  :)

So tomorrow I'm going to map out 2 or 3 goals for each of these categories that I am hoping will make me feel more satisfied in these areas.  Where do you need the most attention?

This is where I'm partying:
Super Sweet Thursday Par-tay (Fabulously Flawed)
Happy Hour Friday (Happy Hour Projects)
It's a Party (A Creative Princess)
Taking Timeout Thursday (Mom on Timeout)
Things I've Done Thursday (Bear Rabbit Bear)

Hmmm... very interesting when I actually put it down on paper. Surprised at the results.

I'm already thinking about some of these catagories more than I have in months! (Guess that's a low mark in "self-care"!!) This is going to be interesting! I'm going to think about this some more at work today....(also low in career!!)

Great printable! Not surprising I am lowest in self-care. With a couple of others close behind. I am tapeing this up next to my computer/crafting area so I will see it often. Maybe it will help me keep these areas of my life on my mind more.:)

This series you're doing is going to be great, Terry! I printed off my wheel, now off to find the crayons!

Hmmm, the "me" side of my wheel seems to need some attention. Isn't that interesting when you actually see it.

I am also very surprised that you feel your creativity is low. I love your ideas and I think you are very creative! I almost wish mine were lower, so I could pretend to work on it some more. ;) But that wouldn't really be the point of the exercise, would it?

Hi! Visiting from Happy Hour Projects! This is such a great idea! I bought an adorable handmade journal on Etsy and I've been hesitant to write just anything in it because it's so beautiful. BUT I think this may just be the thing for this journal. Thanks so much for sharing this idea!

OK Terry....I printed my wheel, I made my lines, I colored my wheel (Why does my 4 year old grandson still have "fat" crayons?...note to self, by that kid some real crayons). Now I'm surprised by the low marks in finance, self-care, health and relationships. Hmmmm...I'm not a particularly money oriented person, but maybe something in the back of my head is telling me I should focus on that a little more. I already knew "self-care" would be a low one....by the time I get around to "me" most days, I'm too tired. Health...I gotta quit smokin and if I lost 25 lbs, I'd feel awesome! Relationships....well, I talk to my mail lady if I can catch her delivering the mail. Does that count???!!! Oh, and you are not the only one with mad coloring skills!!!
