More Napkin Rings

I've become obsessed (as I often do) with napkin rings.  I love a gorgeous tablescape but I've never had one myself.   I once mentioned to my lovely sister-in-law how her table always looked so amazing, and mine never really did.  She responded by saying, "Yeah, but your food always tastes really good."  ha ha.  I guess it has not been in my imagination that my table appearance is lacking.

So my mission is to get myself a nice-looking table.  Here are a handful of the napkin rings that I've been making:

This napkin ring was done on a stretchy jewelry ring with a large central bead and seed beads on either side.  I just tied a knot in the end.

The napkin rings are actually on a toilet paper roll that I covered with beige card stock.  A plastic wrap or tin foil tube would be better because they are smaller but this did the trick. I thought this could be used as a neat storage option or for gift-giving.

This is the back view of the large central bead ring shown above.  It could be an alternate look or you could make a whole set this way.

These are beaded on an elastic jewelry cord as well.  I made one long circle for each colour and then just twisted them around the napkin with the twisty part at the back.

These are the metal wire rings from yesterday's tutorial.

I like all of these rings which is a good start.  Now I only need a new tablecloth, napkins, maybe a decorative runner, a nice centrepiece,....

You should seriously open an Etsy Shop. These are so cool. Can't wait to see your tablescape. :o)

How do you buy the stretchy cord stuff? On a spool? I need some. :o)

I also agree about the etsy shop. These are beautiful.

I'm with everybody else, Terry; I think your own etsy shop is a really great idea. I love the chunkier beads on your latest napkin rings. I was thinking about the fat quarters you bought and just now realized that you could make your own co-ordinated placemats and napkin rings.
