Crocheted Face Cloths

I cannot even remember where I first saw this idea, but I fell in love with crocheted facecloths.  Everything I read said the yarn must be cotton but other than that,..pretty basic stuff.

Now just look at how adorable these facecloths with a little face soap are:

I started with a cotton yarn and chained 40 stitches.  Into each of these stiches, a single crochet, turn at the end of the row, chain 1 and carry on.  Super easy.  Do as many rows as you like and you're done.  I should mention that I used a size H8/5mm crochet hook. Soooo easy and so cute.  I made these for a dear friend in St. Louis and will be sending out this week.

This is the yarn I bought today that will be the next installment of the cotton facelcoth.   Not sure who these will be for?

What do you think?

I am so jealous you can make those yourself! I always buy them at the craft fair here in September to save for little Christmas gifts! Note to self: I need to learn how to crochet!!

Very pretty! I make handcrafted soaps, so this is a great gift idea! I better get busy!
