Overall, I feel pretty satisfied with the relationships in my life that are important to me, but I can't help feeling that if I don't put a conscious effort into maintaining them, they might wither.
Because of that, I decided that I would send out a weekly 'thank you' or 'thinking of you' card to someone who is special to me, to let them know they are in my thoughts.
Here are some of the cards that I made this week, to be mailed out this month.
As an aside, this is the first project that I had to do wearing cheaters (those dollar store glasses for things up close). How depressing, lol. The good news, is that I made a couple of glasses leashes so I'll be sharing those in the next couple of weeks.
What little thing do you think you could do to improve your already fabulous relationships?

Those cards are lovely! I can relate to the "readers" issue. :( I just sent out a few postcards to friends, myself. T.
Wow! You've been crafting!! Those are really cute and that is a good idea! Ha! I remember my first cheater glasses! Now they make such cute ones, but mine were ugly...even more depressing! Good for you for turning that milestone into a craft as well!
What beautiful cards and what a sweet and thoughtful effort you are trying to make to maintain the good relationships in your life. I am sure the recipients of your cards will be overjoyed :)
And, I adore that little doggie proudly sitting under Home.
Pretty cards! The glasses? you get used to reaching for them for closeups, your glass leashes mean you won't lose them 8) I think an improvement would be more low key get togethers instead of waiting for an occasion.
This is such a great idea, Terry! ~ Maureen
These cards are fantastic! I love them! Beautiful! Don't worry about the glasses! I started wearing them, when I started to paint! Fun stuff! LOL!
What a nice idea! The cards are beautiful, too!
Sending out cards like that is such a sweet idea, and sending handmade ones is extra lovely. :) You've inspired me to send some handmade postal love to some very dear friends who most definitely need (and deserve) it!
