I love this time of year. The planting has been done and now we just watch and wait for all the goodies to erupt from the soil.
We have a bunch of different things planted. Way at the back are the cucumbers, there are 4 types of tomatoes (cherry, Roma, yellow boy, and um,.....something red), zucchini (yellow and green), red shepherd pepper, finger eggplant, green beans (the yellow don't seem to have sprouted), mesclun, red leaf lettuce, Boston lettuce, swiss chard, kale, mustard greens and herbs.

The lettuce is ready to eat and the herbs are already helping out in the kitchen. Do you plant a veggie garden? If so, what do you like in it?

Wow, am impressed by the neatness of your patch - it looks amazing. I have some beans in a big tub, and some baby lettuce leaves and beetroot, a bit of mint and other herbs, but I couldn't do much more.
I am sooooooo completely jealous of the space you have for veggies!!!! You could feed a small army!
Awesome garden! Basil and lavender are the only herbs in my garden- yours is an inspiration!
I have so many trees around my yard and not enough sun to plant a full garden. Up on our deck I have tomatoes in planters and lot's of herbs that do very well. We eat a of salads so I would love to grow lettuce but have not yet tried to grow it in containers.
Yes, I am so impressed with the neatness of your patch too, though it doesn't at all surprise me. :) Mine would make you weep - such happy disorder everywhere! The red mustard looks beautiful. The kale seems to be coming up pretty well too now -- is that the Black Tuscan?
Wow, Your garden is amazing! I have tomatoes in planters lol,but you have inspired me to create my own garden in the future. :)
