Have you seen the jewelry that Amy at
One Artsy Mama has been making? She started about 6 weeks ago and wow, she has made some awesome stuff.
I want to learn how to make some jewelry, so she has been kind enough to walk me through a couple of her projects and the materials necessary. I'll show you Amy's inspirational pieces first, then my attempts below (never mind how much better her photos are, lol):

Do you notice anything funny about the brown earrings above? Hmmm? Yep, the right one is missing the top bead. I am seriously unsure of how I did that.

Okay, looks like I have a long way to go. In the meantime, Amy has a great
etsy shop where she has all kinds of earrings, rings, necklaces, bracelets. Check her out and if you're looking for me, I'll be practicing. :)

For a beginner you have done a great job. I've been a beader for years. I make all my own earrings and bracelets. I've never tried a ring though...and I didn't try to turn wire for a long time. I'm impressed that you jumped right in. I used to sell it but the price of silver went so high that I wasn't making any money. Keep practicing...~Ann
I love, love, love the nest pendant. How's that one on the skill level?
Great job, girl! You're off to a good start. :) I love to see how different the same basic design can look with different colored and shaped beads. Good for you!
They look hard to make, so I'm impressed that you decided to give it a try! Your pieces look very good and I know you'll get even better results with more practice. You have a really good eye for colour!
These are geougous! (**I can never spell that word and hardly ever use it due to that reason) but its due here. I love the nest pendant. Well done!
You have done fabulous job....and love the nest pendant.
You have been busy! These are really pretty.
